A letter from the President of National Solidarity Party (NSP) to Singaporeans

To be serious, I actually don't like this guy at all, as he ever once and more than one time look down on me, look down on my past, even without finding out the truth nor understand what type of person I can be, before passing his judgement.

Recently, seeing him being attacked by the online media and people from the public due to his past history and records, maybe I m the only one that will understand how he feel and how painful he can be to continue moving on. I hope he can pull through this round, and we shouldn't be always looking at people's past as life have to move on right?

While, maybe I m the very unique person that will help people who dislike me. To me, if I can help I will help, as I m not as bastard as what you think, but I can be damm bastard if I need to be.

Anyway, he is not a bad guy as I ever join him in his walkabout at Tampines GRC. I can see that he does care for his political party more than any of his members, but just that he at time also have no choice but to make certain decision that might not please the party members.

Well, it is not easy to run a company, and it is not easy to run a political party as many people just want power and fame. As such I can understand how Sebastian Teo feel at time. All the best to him in this GE 2015 if he is still running for the election.

Lastly, read his open letter below to all the Singaporeans, it is quite sincere and he deserved to be given a second chance.

A letter from the President of National Solidarity Party (NSP) to Singaporeans:

" In recent days, my past convictions have been used by opponents of the National Solidarity Party to try to discredit and damage my reputation and that of the Party .

I make this statement to explain the facts behind my convictions, in order that the fair-minded and gracious people of Singapore, can judge for themselves whether the criticisms levelled at me personally are fair.

I was a young man of 27 when I committed those technical breaches of the law. I had already left the job, which gave rise to the charges, for 6 years before I was charged with the offences. Initially, I was adamant in wanting to defend myself against the charges and to clear my name. In hindsight, I wish I had done that. However, I was persuaded by my bankers and lawyers to plead guilty to the charges and to pay a fine, instead of dragging out the case, which would have been very damaging for my business then according to my bankers and lawyers. I was advised by them that as mine was a "technical" breach of the law which only merited a fine , I should plead guilty , pay the fine and move on with my business and life . They advised me not to be embroiled in a lengthy court case which would cost me much time and money, and take me away from my business. As I am not knowledgeable about the law, what my bankers and lawyers advised me seemed to make sense. It was on that basis that I pleaded guilty to the 2 charges against me.

I have stood in the past 3 elections without any anyone suggesting that I was ineligible to stand as a candidate. The timing of the recent articles to discredit me, by referring to my past convictions is therefore highly suspicious and is an example of the gutter politics and negative campaigning which the Elections Department have warned candidates against in the coming General Elections . The nature of these attacks against me are not befitting of a democratic Singapore and the type of politics which Singaporeans wish to see practiced.

In the 40 years following that episode, I have work double hard than other to become a respected businessman and constantly improved myself by studying for various degrees to become lecturer of various Universities. I have been given many awards for my contribution to society and academia. Leading the National Solidarity Party as President has been one of my proudest achievements in life. We have persevered despite the many obstacles in our way, and been able to offer Singaporeans an alternative voice in politics. My life experience is no different to that of many Singaporeans who have overcome setbacks to achieve much in life. I am proud of what I have achieved in life and I ask you for your understanding in this matter."

NSP is in a mess?

Look at what the trolls had done! They had successfully created a mess in NSP, and looking at this situation, the party is seem falling apart by itself now. Many people are concern whether they should vote for NSP in this upcoming GE and my answer is YES, provided NSP can restructure and re-brand their party, and with a plan to fight in this upcoming GE.

News from The New Paper: NSP acting secretary-general Hazel Poa, 44, announced her decision to quit. She said the decision to run Mr Chia in MacPherson was one she "strongly disagreed with" and "one I could not implement". She also said she would be taking herself out of the running in the coming General Election. This is the second time Ms Poa has resigned from the NSP.

News from The Straits Times: "The Trolls have won," he wrote in a Facebook post put up at around 1am. "With this notice I am announcing that I will not be standing for this coming #GE2015 and will not be contesting in #MacPhersonSMC anymore." He added: "It is with anguish and deep sadness that my lifelong ambition to be the people's spokesman in Parliament ends today." Mr Steve Chia, a former Non-Constituency MP, included a link to a website that purports to present a profile of him, and includes details about a nude photo scandal he was embroiled in in 2003.

Well, everyone had a past, I also had a past, but the trolls and your haters will usually twist and turn their words, into making people believe that many of their so called "sharing" are true, which in fact many of the facts are not true at all. I understand how each of the member in NSP feel after seeing so many bad news recently. But what are the immediate action taken so far?

Few months ago, I offered to lend a helping hand to NSP, but end up the opposition is "pushing" me to the MIW instead. They felt that I have a motive in helping NSP, they mind my past even when I m so open about my past and to the extend showing them my supports that I had gained all these years. I personally felt that NSP should have a open heart and be more compassion to people like me if you are seriously in helping people.

I met Steve Chia last week, and this is my first time sitting down listening to his conversation with Mr Tan Lam Siong. I read his book and I also tell him that I m impressed with his ideology and theory on politics. He is a nice chap, despite that he had a past, but why is the troll digging up his past and talk again? Why cant you guys move on and give your support to good candidate like Steve Chia? Idiot right?

If you ask me 3 cornered fight at MacPherson SMC whether is a right choice for Steve Chia, my answer is YES and why not! Do not post me question on "Have he walk the ground?", "Do he understand what the residents need?", as to me, even the PAP candidates also new to more of the area also. Worst still, some of the PAP candidates can claim they had walk the ground for many years, but how come many of the particular estate residents still dunno him/her? He/she walk the ground, is it referring to ground floor once in awhile?

As for Hazel Poa, no comment as I do not know her personally. But based on media reports, I wont support a candidate like her despite she can be a scholar or what. She do not have the type of personal touch and I doubt she really have the heart to serve the residents. Look at how often she walk the ground, what had she give or do for the people? Writing paper alone is never enough. Maybe I m wrong about her? But since she will not contest in this election, I wish her all the best to her health.

Next will be Kevryn Lim, getting "atacked" by the trolls for no reason. First of all, she haven't even being given a chance to stand on rally stage, how you know she cant talk? And her past as a model, is it wrong? Her current dressing, is it wrong? Putting on makeup, is it wrong? If that is wrong, why some "old" female MPs and NCMP go for facial and even plastic surgery? This is about their personal image, and I hope everyone can give her a chance at least! A chance to speak up for Singaporeans.

Lastly, there are people sending me link about the President of NSP Sebastian Teo, a person that I dun really understand as he can be weird in his thought at time. I dun really like his attitude but sometime I does pity him especially when I saw him walking with painful legs. I know many internal politics within NSP, and usually he will take all the blame, even it is not cause by him. Well, you must be surprise why I m speaking up for him, not becos he pay me for that, but becos I felt that overall he is still kind in heart.

NSP is in a mess, partially becos of the trolls, but the other reason is due to some of their members who always want to be the next "President" and "Secretary-General" etc. Instead of thinking how to fight in this upcoming GE, they are thinking of how to remove their President from the seat. One of the reason why Mr Tan Lam Siong left the party is becos of too much internal fights, too many people with personal agenda and motive.

To Sebastian Teo: Despite I do not like you for some of the things that you had say, but nevertheless after hearing and seeing so much in your party, I do hope you can stand strong as the President and lead your team for a good fight in this upcoming GE. All the best to you and NSP.

“Opposition Unity"到底去了哪里?

Today I wrote this message in the Facebook, and I think many opposition parties and their members will hate me like FUCK! Well, you think I will bother about them, talking bad about me by just getting me to shut up? Haha, you think this work on me? You can try actually, as I m a black coffee, black until I can never be in milk colour anymore. Hope you wont turn black becos you go into political war with me. War? This is something that keep me on-going daily!

This coming GE, Singapore need a third voice to represent us in Parliament. The first voice is the "ruling party" People's Action Party, and the second voice is the "Opposition party" Workers' Party, Singapore Democratic Party (maybe Singapore Democratic Alliance and People's Power Party if they are lucky enough), lastly the third voice will be the "Independent".

Other opposition parties that will be involved in this coming GE, I sincerely hope and hope that Singaporeans please open your EYE and EAR to see and listen to them before you make your decision. Do not make angry decision just becos you want the opposition to get into Parliament as you will regret for at least 4 to 5 years until next GE.

I can openly and dare to say that I support good PAP candidates, good Opposition candidates and Independent candidates, as I hope to see our Parliament becoming first world parliament and not a circus. Till date, I think some of the MPs from Workers' Party had perform quite well in the Parliament and looking at the rest of the opposition candidates, I doubt most of them can do so if we vote them into the Parliament.

This GE, we must vote wisely and I believe there will be more independent candidates standing up to voice their thought and intention to contest. We should support them equally and not looking down on them. Just like I always ask people a question: "What is the difference between a sole proprietor and a PTE LTD company with one director only?"

As a marketing consultant for a couple of companies, I realized that many sole proprietors actually do well than a PTE LTD company, despite the fact that many of them only have a couple of staffs under them. At least their business grow daily, their staffs get their salary on time, and I can see them planning to expand etc.

This mean a Independent Candidate can only perform well if he/she have the ability to conceptualize and have proper time management, most important he/she must have a plan in mind. I look at many local Opposition Parties, sad to say that many of them only have three or less members left in the party, and how can we expect good candidates from them? Singaporeans are not stupid and desperate to join a "Titanic" right?

Will you join a party with so many "scandal news" candidates that can be compared to renowned celebrity Edison Chen? Will you support a party that after a GE end, they had one of the highest candidates leaving? Will you fund a party that cant even afford to pay their office rental or even employ a admin staff to look after their office? Lastly, will you able to accept internal conflicts between candidates in the same party and whereby they are waiting to swallow one another to become the President of the party?

If the party cant even educate their candidates and manage their office admin well, how can you be sure that they can manage a town council without having any issue? Lastly, the photo that I put up today are the candidates that I personally prefer and this is for your reference as they have a beautiful heart and kindness thoughts for the Singaporeans.
