Unconditional Love


"Am I in love?" Most of the young people, especially when in their teens, ask themselves this question sometime. They know it feels good. They want to lead a happy life, and they think and are not so wrong that a good choice of a marriage partner makes a vital difference. It does.

But even though there is perhaps more talk of love today than in the past, yet not everyone knows what love is. They think it is a feeling. Thank heavens it is not merely that. You could not build a lifelong marriage on feelings as they flicker too much. But what happen yesterday change my mindset toward love.

Yesterday I chat with a couple during a midnight coffee session and listen to them sharing with me about their love and personal life. I can feel the love from the women toward her husband, the unconditional care and support, despite her husband is still struggling with his career at this moment. She told me that she is willing to wait and pray daily that her husband can pull through this difficult period. 

I can also sense the husband really love and care for her wife as well. He do not want her to worry so much, he want to give as much support to his wife, he change because he want both their parents to have a better life. He rather suffer alone in silence rather than letting her wife feel the stress at home and at work. Even through at time he is tired after a long day work, he will still pick up her wife from her work. 

The love, between them, really touches my heart and I want to give them a helping hand during this difficult period. The wife was in doubt initially why I want to give them the helping hand, but after spending time chatting and understanding over the coffee session, she understand my point and where I come from. The husband says he feel bad that I have been giving him opportunity yet he is not contributing much in the assignment, and he promise to work hard to give his wife a better life. 

This couple is pure and kind in heart, standing beside each other to give support to one another for the past few years. Yesterday was my first session with them, they let me understand more about love, about supporting one another, and I wishing them forever happy and have a blissful lasting relationship. 

I hope to see more successful people around me, hope to see more smiling faces, hope to see everyone have a good year ahead. Some of you might not understand me, as I can be emotional at time but I can be very decisive as well, and no matter what, I m not a person that a normal person can handle, especially feeling play a part in my life. 

The year of Monkey is coming, hereby wishing everyone a Happy Chinese New Year. Lastly, I hope to see Elson Soh, Daniel Chin, Hayden Chen and Jacky Goh doing better than last year, be more successful this year and hope to see you guys settled down with your loved ones this year. This year, I hope to find another successor to impart my knowledge and a person who understand me at the same time, hopefully someone that is patience and hardworking.

Appreciate people in your life


Maybe not everyone can think like what you think in life, but I personally enjoy coming into work each day and appreciate the opportunity to continually learn new things. From a newspaper boy at 12 years old to a business consultant at the age of 40 years old, I have seen through many things in life and basically there is nothing much for me to achieve. What I hope to do for the next 10 years is to nurture new talents, regardless whether in entertainment, marketing business, technology, property and insurance industry, to groom them into the next leader and boss of a company and help them achieve something great in life.

Why I want to do that? Well, I had been wasting my time, building something alone without much guidance from any of the mentors and friends, and I do not wish to see my friends and partners wasting their times building and end of the day, they fail because of wrong direction and wrong timing. If I know the way to build a success business, the next step is to find somebody suitable to impart my skill and knowledge to him/her. But how many of them are willing to learn the steps and techniques that I have on hand? 

Seem like nowadays, young working executives and youngster with a dream, do not believe in hard work, rather than believing in very successful people's stories, but do they really share their way to their success, or it is just another marketing stories to get consumers know about their product and branding instead? Maybe some of you succeed in using another successful businessman's strategy, but how many of them can successfully use the same method?

If you ever meet a mentor who want to impart his/her knowledge to you, helping you to become successful in life, you should invest your time to learn and try it out for at least 1 to 2 years. Nothing come over the night, and remember that whatever you spend years to built in your life, can also be destroy over the night. Learn to invest your time on the right mentor. 

If you ever meet a investor who believe in your dream, do plan carefully and work accordingly to ensure every steps that you take, is safe and correct, so as to ensure minimum risk in your new business. No doubt investor's money is not your money, but once your investor lose the confident in you, you will also get into trouble as well. Use the investment in the right way and work with a team of professional who are confident in your dream. 

Recently I build a team for a new set-up, with a group of new staffs with no knowledge on what we are doing, plus a group of experience staffs who understand what we are doing. A mixture of new and old staffs can be disaster if we do not manage properly. In every business, there are risk if you want to see success within the shorter period, so I m trying out now to see what is the result end of the day. 

I hope to see new staffs able to work independently and old staffs can improve them continuously. I know it is hard, so if I do not have a choice, my only choice is to recruit new staffs and remove whoever that is not performing up to standard or those that is not keen to learn. My theory is always the same: "Talk is cheap, action is more realistic."

Hopefully new staffs and old staffs can improve and be independent, work on new solution and ideas that can bring the company to another highest level. Lastly if you want to be a successor of a company and business, you must impress me with your knowledge and commitment, otherwise it will be hard for me to even share and teach you further. Nowadays I give up on people and things more easier than anyone out there, as my patience is very limited as age is catching up.

Welcome 2016 and Goodbye to 2015


How did you guys celebrate your countdown just now? I went for a short drink with the team, but party is not really my cup of tea, maybe I'm getting old already. Time really passed very fast, this year I'm officially 40 years old, so my objective is to stay happy, and help more people to succeed in their career, especially people who trusted me, and believe in what I'm have given to them. 

Welcome to 2016 and I believe this is a good year to start many projects with my team, clients and sponsors. Do continue to lend me your support in all my projects and most important must support my artistes and personalities Elson Soh, Daniel Chin, Hayden Chen, Jacky Goh and Allan Moo, as we going to have many exciting line-ups for you. 

2015, we learn a lot of things and gain experience working with other overseas management. I would say it is not easy to work with management that are messy, especially their board of directors are in a mess, with no direction within them, resulting the staffs losing confidence in the company. Good staffs leaving the company is a waste, and it seem that nobody is bothering to keep them also. Anyway this already happened in 2015 and hopefully 2016 will be a good year for my team, and hope not to engage in anymore such company again. 

2016, with a good branding consultant Charlene Eng on board, plus a solid management team, I believe we will fly very high and far. With all the experience and knowledge that I have gained from the past 10 years, it is time for me to put all the eggs in the same basket, as no risk no gain. We look forward to continue our marketing and event services with existing clients, and at the same time, hoping to work with new clients as well. 

This year, Royal Entertainment will also be releasing EP albums and Singles for current artistes and new artistes that we might signed along the way. Our other companies will also be expanding its networks and services, so as to provide a better branding exposure, more marketing platforms and good sales returns for every of our clients.
